About
Tamarack Ridge Farm
Tamarack Ridge Farm is a sustainable farmstead in the heart of the Finger Lakes, tucked along Dolphsburg Road just outside Montour Falls. Its little black A-frame farm store — OPEN flag flying, pumpkins lining the gravel in fall — is a warm, personal stop that reflects the care behind the whole operation.
The farm is built around regenerative agriculture: a way of farming that works with the land rather than against it, building healthy soil, supporting biodiversity, and keeping the farmstead sustainable for the long haul. It's a quiet, thoughtful approach you can feel the moment you arrive.
There are two easy ways to shop. The farm store is staffed three days a week — Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10am to 3pm — where the farm's own seasonal herbs and produce sit alongside a curated selection of goods from local makers: cards, art, jewelry, handmade cutting boards, elixirs, and drinks. A self-serve farm stand runs every day, with $5 firewood bundles, $10 fresh-cut flower bouquets, and seasonal herbs and produce on the honor system. Please note: the farm doesn't offer tours, and for the health and safety of the animals and land, only service dogs are permitted on the property.
In Our Words
Our Story
There's something about pulling up to that black A-frame with the OPEN flag flying and pumpkins tucked along the gravel that tells you exactly what kind of place this is — small, genuine, and done with real care. Tamarack Ridge is a working regenerative farmstead, and the self-serve stand out front says everything about the trust and community spirit that runs through it. Grab a $5 bundle of firewood or a $10 bouquet of fresh-cut flowers any day of the week, leave your payment in the box, and you're part of it.
When the store's staffed Saturday through Monday, it's worth the stop for the seasonal herbs and produce and a closer look at how a regenerative farm actually works. It's the kind of quiet, honest Finger Lakes spot that's easy to love — and even easier to come back to.
