Seneca Lake Kayak is Watkins Glen's premier kayaking and paddleboarding outfitter — centrally located at Clute Park on the southern end of Seneca Lake, the deepest of the Finger Lakes and one of the most spectacular paddling destinations in New York State. Whether you've never sat in a kayak or you're a seasoned paddler, they have a tour or rental for you.

The guided tour program is the real standout. Their knowledgeable guides lead groups to destinations like the majestic Hector Falls, the Tiki Bar via water, calm marshes, and painted rock cliffs — all with expert commentary on the history and ecology of Seneca Lake. Every tour includes all equipment, instruction, and a guide who will have you paddling confidently within minutes.

Rentals are available hourly for kayaks (single and tandem) and stand-up paddleboards, based on availability and paddler ability. Special rates are available for non-profits and youth groups. Local lodging pickup may also be available — contact them to ask.
