Scale House Brewery is a New York State Farm Brewery tucked along Route 414 in Hector, NY — about 12 minutes north of Watkins Glen on the east shore of Seneca Lake. It's the kind of place that draws you in with great beer and keeps you there with even better food and a patio that's hard to leave.
The brewery pours a rotating lineup of house-crafted beers spanning Belgians, porters, brown ales, stouts, IPAs, wheat beers, pale ales, and pilsners — something for every palate. The kitchen goes well beyond typical brewpub fare: real gourmet pizza, house-made meatballs, fresh salads, paninis, and desserts. Everything is made with care and locally sourced as much as possible.
The beer garden and patio are where you want to be on a warm day — open air, beautiful landscaping, and the laid-back energy of a place that knows exactly what it is and does it really well.

Scale House is one of those stops that surprises you every time. You come for the beer and stay for the pizza — and then you stay a little longer because the patio is too good and the vibe is just right. Scale House Brewery is the passion project of Jen and Luke — a husband-and-wife team who built something truly special on the shores of Seneca Lake. From the thoughtfully landscaped grounds to the scratch-made kitchen to the carefully crafted beer program, every detail at Scale House reflects their commitment to doing things right.
Rooted in the Finger Lakes community, Jen and Luke have created a place that feels like home — for locals and visitors alike. Stop in, say hello, and taste what happens when two people pour their whole hearts into a place.
